Volunteer with us
Come to Lviv and spend your days with children who have lost a great deal to the war. You will play, laugh, and learn English together - and give them a summer worth remembering.
The form takes a few minutes. Questions first? Email us at info@believeinourchildrensfuture.com. We're also listed on VolunteeringUkraine, well worth a browse for other high-quality volunteering opportunities across Ukraine.
The role
Our camp runs in Lviv for displaced children and the children of military families - three to six weeks each summer, and three to four weeks each winter. As a volunteer you lead a group through the day: English-through-play sessions built on games, arts, and crafts, and excursions to the city's parks, museums, and historic sites.
The aim is not a classroom. It is fun, warmth, and the confidence that comes from being listened to. You mentor your group, learn their names and their stories, and help them feel like children again.
Our next summer camp runs 29 June - 7 August 2026.
Who it suits
You need fluent English, kindness, patience, and the willingness to listen. Teaching experience is welcome but not required - what matters most is that you genuinely want to be there for the children. If you can carry the energy of a room full of kids and give each one your attention, you will fit right in.
Commitment
International volunteers commit from one week to six weeks - you tell us how long you can give. A longer stay lets you build a real bond with your group.
Please note that we cannot provide accommodation, meals, or travel. Plan your trip and your budget on that basis before you apply.
Parents and Ukrainian locals are welcome too - sit in on classes and help with translation, for a day here and there or a longer commitment, whatever suits you.
How to apply
Fill in our application form - a few minutes telling us who you are, your English, and the dates you have in mind. We'll read it and get back to you.
